My mom recently got her wig cut and styled by this wonderful student named Tarhyah. She did exactly what my mother wanted and she asked questions to make sure she was happy with the outcome. These students are learning to do hair you have to be patient and understand they are learning. Customers are not paying salon prices so to go on here and bash students who are learning is ridiculous. You take a risk when you to a school to get you hair done. Some of these comments are complaining like these students are aIready licensed when that’s not the case. If you don’t like the school service go to a salon and pay them high ass prices. Instead of telling the students what you want I see people go on the internet and bash them when you should of spoke up before you got the service.

Taryah, the stylist they set me up with did not give me a good first impression, she didn't seem to understand me when I told her I needed someone who is good with fragile hair that's been damaged as I was looking to get the damaged parts trimmed off and the rest adjusted so that it would be shorter overall but still have the same shape I came in with and i also wanted to see if i could get a treatment done for conditioning/bonding. She looked at me like I wasn't speaking English and just shyly turned away and had me follow her. I wanted to just turn around and leave. I tried to communicate this multiple times, she didnt get it at all. After washing my hair and splashing both herself and I, im sat down for the cut and she just put some card in my hand asking me to sign but was rushing me to, I saw she only marked for a haircut and when I reminded her I wanted consultation for the right treatment (conditioning or bonding) her exact words were "oh... well youd have to come back another day because... yeah." Which doesn't explain anything and this other student who randomly sat down next to me is giving me weird looks with the stylist like im some crazy person for asking again why i cant have the treatment done (i requested this on the phone when setting up the appointment) and she said "oh well they probablt thought you meant that for another day" when I specified it was for that same day on the phone.

Stylist walks off and I ask the other student stylist hanging around staring at me if she knew my stylist was good with handling curly hair to which i get another weird stare and a "uh.. I don't know". Why is this random student hanging around me for if theyre not assisting? It made me very uncomfortable to have multiple people coming over asking me why i got all my hair cut off including my own stylist when i told them all i was just trying to get some damage cut off and didnt want to lose ALL my length.

My stylist didn't even bother to get her supervisor until it was too late. I am so angry with how my hair came out that I'm embarrassed to even leave my house now without covering it up entirely because it's not the style I asked for and they just kind of went with what they thought I wanted and what they liked. My shape is screwed up over this and that stylist didn't even seem to understand what I was there for when I told her I had damaged hair on one side that needed to be removed and have the rest cut off so the proportion was right but it would still be the shape I came in with. I don't know why she cut off so much from the back and left the front longer, i feel like i have a karen haircut now and i hate looking at myself in the mirror. I didn't feel confident enough to speak up because too many people were surrounding me and making me feel overwhelmed that I just defaulted to being nice hoping theyd go away. I felt like i was just some customer to get out of the way. I could never recommend this, I feel like I got stuck with a stylist who just barely started there and was just trying to get as many cards signed as she could...

Even the supervisor looked at me funny and stunned when i told her what i was there for because it wasnt what i described.. I expected better care from a Paul Mitchell spot, I should've just gone to a local salon, 15 dollars and I just lost 5 years worth of hard work to grow my hair out. I'm mad af. Who wants to walk around looking like this Why would she think this suited me?

Appoitment was 3pm. Arrived at 3pm and checked in. Barber student was late by 45 mins. Didn't have my haircut till pretty much 4pm because student couldn't find clippers. Haircut was on and off of, student cutting my hair and having a conversation with multiple students. After haircut was finished, I went to the front desk to pay, on to be cut in line by a mob of probably 15 students that rush to the front desk to have some white piece of paper filled out. I did bring up all these concerns to the white woman at the front desk but she didn't seems to care and was quickly dismissive of my concerns. Didn't leave this place until 5:15pm. Insult to injury, was charged $15 for a barber student to cut my hair. Barber student haircuts are advertised as $5, so I got ripped off $10.
Summary - Waste of 2 hours and 15 minutes, customer service is trash.

I was nervous to get my hair dyed by students but Cheyenne did a great job! The services take longer than usual since they’re still learning, but overall a great experience. Everyone was very friendly and they have a sign at the front that states if you don’t like your results, you have 7 days to come back and get it fixed, just pay for the product used. Though for me, that’s not necessary. I loved my balayage!

First time here had a really good experience, front desk lady was not too friendly Maybe she was having a bad morning but my haircut was perfect. Jonathan Carbajal was so friendly, professional was making sure that I get my hair cut style the way I wanted it. Left the place. Happy for sure I will be back. Thank you!

Ki was an amazing technician. She did my hair so beautifully and that’s saying something. My hair is thick with lots of body, very long and dry. She was so attentive, explaining what she was doing at each step, what products she was using and why. I was impressed at her professional manner. Another plus about my visit was the excellent products used. All Paul Mitchell, high quality. My hair was infused with lovely scented botanicals and oils that were so fresh and soothing. I highly recommend this beauty school and especially the talented and beautiful Ki.

I told the girl over and over I DO NOT like dark hair on me. I had highlights and didn't want them touched. I told her my Roots only!
As she's saturating my whole head I'm telling her again I don't want my whole head done. She reassures me she's not touching my highlights. That they will be fine. MY HAIR IS BLACK!!! I am so upset, pissed, infuriated! I've tried calling several times and keep getting a message service!

BEST PLACE EVER! I got a deep conditioning done and it was a wonderful experience. The student who was working with me talked me through all the steps and explained any questions that I had. About, the actual service I got checked in and then the student washed my hair, towel dried it and started to apply the conditioner to my hair. I sat under heat for while afterward the student asked how I wanted my hair to be styled. For 13 bucks! amazing and I strongly recommend for people to go here!
