Loved Peco! She is very friendly and down to earth. I asked her not to braid my hair too tight and not to pull up all my edges and she did just that. She also educated me in the best hair to choose according to longevity and saved me from spending a lot of money that she could have made. Most definitely going back!

I started going to this shop a couple years ago when my hair braider suddenly retired. Since finding this shop I’ve been very happy with every job she’s done. Peco is very neat and punctual! She’s very sweet and sociable. She also genuinely cares about your hair and the work she’s doing. Everytime I come with a picture she slays the style! I definitely recommend!

Peco contacted me this morning at 8:30 AM to confirm the appointment, and I informed her that I would arrive at 9:45 AM for our 10:00 AM appointment for my 17-year-old. Unfortunately, the stylist did not arrive until nearly 11:00 AM. Over the phone, I was quoted a price of $160-$180 for the style, but I was charged $200 due to the length and thickness of my daughter’s hair, which is just above shoulder length.

My daughter then called me informing that she needed to be transferred to another salon which I thought was nice because I didn’t have stop what I was doing to transport her. She was picked up and taken to a different location near 61st and Teutonia, close to the DMV. Once there, the braider was able to get started right away, around 12:00 PM. Although the braider did an excellent job, taking about 7 hours to complete the style, I am unsure if I will return due to the overall experience.

I later learned that Peco on 25th was out of the country and her sister was taking her clients. It would have been helpful if this information had been communicated when I made the appointment on Thursday.
