I finally got to come dine in for dinner, and wow am I impressed! My boyfriend and I started off with drinks at the bar, the bartender was very friendly, I didn’t catch his name but made us feel very welcomed. We had reservations for 5 and were promptly seated and greeted by our server, Diane. She was so kind and quick. We started off with some gator balls, a must try!!!! The salads and rolls hit the spot. I got the almond fried lobster and my boyfriend had the tenderloin Oscar. Everything was fantastic, and we FEEL fantastic after ALL that food- the quality is top notch! I was also very impressed with how sustainable they are, no single use plastic cups carrying the dressing which I have never seen before! Sturdy paper straws too! I mean seriously, I am so impressed! The overall vibe of the place was just beautiful. This will definitely be on my list to come back too!

I had the crab-stuffed salmon with a mango salsa.. It was melt-in-your mouth delicious. It was served with a yellow rice, which I wish I had gotten, and carrots that were so tasty! I got a baked potato instead of the rice. Had I known how delicious it was with saffron and other spices...I'll definitely get it next time! My friends had the seafood fettuccine and the chicken Oscar. We sat in the dining room with the water view. Can't wait to go back! It's a favorite place for Saturday dinner when in the area.

Love The Pinewood, a classic Wisconsin Supper Club. Chris at the bar was friendly and conversational, makes a delicious Brandy Old Fashioned as well. Holly our server was courteous and efficient. Tried the Friday Fish Fry, delicious and filling. The Seafood Alfredo was rich and creamy with perfect scallops.

The food was delicious and the service was great. I loved the crab stuffed salmon, it was so yummy. We also had the brandy Alexander after our meal, it was really good. The views are amazing.

What a cool place! There are a lot of nice details here. The bar is very classy but at the same time north woodsy. There are tables off to the side in case you want to hang out a bit. They make a great Old Fashioned.
The dining room is also classy north woods. White paper table covers, candle, big windows overlooking the lake, lots of wood.
The food is pretty awesome too. I absolutely love a relish tray and Pinewood has a good one. There is a very tasty dip for the fresh veggies. It’s seasoned with curry and trust me, you’ll like it. We did not have the Baked French Onion Soup because they were featuring a delicious Chicken Spetzal Soup. Yum! The Halibut Oscar was as good as it looked. It was served over perfectly cooked asparagus. The ribs were delicious as well. I’m guessing the sauce is homemade and the rack, while not long in length, was so thick it looked like a pork roast on the plate. They make a potato that has cheese stuffed inside and is coated in bread crumbs and fried!
We skipped dessert as we were quite full and we didn’t have time for an after dinner drink but we will be back for dinner again when we can linger a bit longer.
I would also like to recognize the staff. We were greeted and seated by a very friendly woman and our server, Jennifer, was friendly, attentive, and made us feel at home.
