Dr. A is the BEST! Her microneedling service change my skin for the better. I highly reccomend this office. They are professional and the office is very clean.

INSURANCE BILLING MISTAKE THAT I WASNT NOTIFIED OF UNTIL 4 YEARS LATER. I had gone here for a few years with duel insurance that fully covered every visit. All procedures such as chemicals peel, extractions etc. were paid up front before your were eligible to get the service. To my surprise I got a bill from a collections agency from a charge that was from 2020, so 4 years later. I had moved in the year 2020 but I went through all the proper steps of updating my information with both health insurance providers (bill notification from this office had been sent to the wrong address). I also had all my mail forwarded through USPS. I spoke with Roa dermatology’s phone line where they would not verify if they had made a mistake when billing the insurance though I had nothing but routine check up appointments with them. The collections company they use also tacked on an unaccounted for $124 when compared to the amount I verified over the phone with Rao dermatology. I see that others have had similar issues from the reviews I have read. Be warned if you don’t want a lengthy phone call with your health insurance company or to deal with a medical office that refuses to avow to their mistakes I would steer clear of this chain of offices. Too bad since they’re one of the few dermatologists that are located in Kings county. Better off finding a well established practice in a surrounding county.

I was forced to pay a co-pay for my preventative skin screening, I requested for some moles to be taken off and they ignored my requests. Spent about 5 mins in the whole appointment and every time they left the room they burst into coughing. Rude, lacking care and knowledge. Hope i can request a different office for my next years screening.

I went in for fillers. Paula talked me out of it and do more Botox,.. even after I told her Botox sinks my eyebrows and eyelids! She said “no,.. I know what to do without fillers!” … I trusted her as this was my second time. We were moving across the country so I expressed mor concern. She told me to call if any problems. WELL LET ME TELL YOU!! MY EYEBROWS AND EYELIDS SUNK DRASTICALLY! They said I had to pay for a consult over the phone! Then after that got cleared the office manager said they would FaceTime me to see about getting a bit of my money back to fix it……CRICKETS!!!! Nothing to hear from them!!! DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE!!!!

1st time today. Let me just say they are great. Staff members are very nice and poliet . The waite time was not bad. The doctor explains everything and every step of what he is doing. The office is clean and in order. If your looking for a good skin Dr this is the place.

They are very professional. Very organized. When you come for an appointment- you will be seen at the appointment time which I LOVE. They are very cautious with treatment which I appreciate. Better safe than sorry.

They didnot sent my prescribtion to the hospital. I called them back, again it was not sent. Again, i called, they put me in a hold for a long time. I mean, How hard is it to sent prescribtion after check up. People has different things to do beside spending hours for their prescribtion to be sent.

The staff was great. Good personalities and I felt very comfortabe with them. Rao Dermatology gets a 10.
