This is a cool place to visit in Waupaca, WI and is near the Chain O’ Lakes. Step in for a huge selection of candy, wall hangings, veggie mixes, soups, candles, mugs, socks and much more. Check out my photos. They also offer and nice grille and ice cream for a snack.

Out back the Crystal River flows and the is a beautiful cover bridge and chapel. Many weddings take place in this beautiful setting.

Didn't even know this place existed We were driving around after kayaking My wife and I and our puppy.

And stumbled across this place and we walked in and it just kept going for on and on and on it was great and we even found that it has an ice cream shop right there.

Far as I can tell they make their own ice cream because I had some really weird flavor and it was one of the best I've ever had and I've never heard of it before I wish I could tell you what it is but I forgot what it was called!

I thought it was a cute little place. Lots of unique items and decor for the shop. Small plot of land with a small river flowing through going under a enclosed bridge.

Not a place you spend a lot of time at and depending when you go it'll get crowded quickly inside and out.

If you are to buy something there it's kinda mixed for reasonable and bank account busters.

Would I go again? I'd probably go during fall and winter to get some cool photos of the scenery with the shop and water mill wheel, foliage and old-time Americana items.

If you aren't a fan of small spaces, close interactions with others or business-ey type tourism then this probably isn't the place for you.

Fantastic little spot! Make sure to get their seasonal drinks and sandwiches and sit by the river!

Loved the Italian sandwich (recommended by the staff). She also likes the pizza wrap, got to try it next time!

Friendly staff, good coffee, but HORRIBLE owners. Called ahead to ask if we could take pictures there and was told yes that there’s only a fee if we had the chapel unlocked for use. Went to take pictures for a vow renewal and owners interrupted threatening with the police saying we were “stealing and trespassing”. Even though they have it open to the public 😒🙄 We explained to them we didn’t know since we called and was told differently. We asked if we should leave or if we could finish a few photos and then settle payment after. We were allowed 10 minutes to photograph and they wanted to charge us $250. We were there taking photos in October without issue and it didn’t require payment but was told “because of our attire there’s a fee” (suit and dress) The man that owns Red Mill got in my husband’s face and was still threatening that even with payment he was reporting us to the sheriff. Unprofessional, unreasonable, disgusting behavior. Such a shame it’s a beautiful place with sweet staff but will never return because of their behavior.

Cute little stop in the middle of the country! Ice cream, candy, and gifts/crafts! Well worth the stop! Covered bridge and small chapel just behind the buildings!
