I realized I might be having low back pain from the lack of lumbar support on my Steelcase Leap and Herman Miller Aeron - which I've been using for basically a decade at this point, so I started researching the perfect office chair.

I spend a ton of time at my desk for work/gaming, and my research took me in the direction an Anthos chair which apparently had amazing lumbar support. I went to Relax The Back solely to try that chair out thinking it was gonna be the winner, didn't really like it, then Cody steered me toward a chair from a brand I'd never heard of (Lifeform). Very little information about the smaller company online, but working with Cody - who is awesome (and amazingly patient) by the way - he guided me to probably the best chair in the world for me. I bought the chair ~3 months ago but am just now reviewing it, and I love it.

We had a problem related with the armrests on our 10 year old chair that we bought from Relax the Back store. This was a problem secondary to time and heavy usage. Cody the store manager was fabulous in helping us resolve the problem. It is a real pleasure to deal with people who are so pleasant and helpful.. From reading the notes I see that Cody seems to be that way with many other people also. This is the type of customer support one loves to see.

Don’t give your mailing address to this company. I’ve been trying to get off of their advertising list for years now and they just lie when they say they’ve removed my info, and just wait a few months for it to finalize because you might get one last mailing. Just got yet another one today and I’m pissed off and need to vent- contacting them is utterly pointless. I’m hoping this gets someone’s attention. I hate this company.

I ordered a chair here and there was a mixup with humanscale shipping the order in the wrong fabric color, this store went above and beyond by letting me keep the old chair and driving to my place and swapping it out for me when the new chair came in. This was really helpful for me because the reason I bought the chair was to help with my shoulder injury in the first place and I would have had a difficult time fixing this on my own. They're also great at describing how the chairs should fit, benefits and drawbacks of each, and helping you select a chair.
