Best Products at the lowest prices And outstanding service I got a free goodie bag! The prices are so good. I thought this was a scam. I was scared to order. This is not a scam. The products are the real deal. The prices are anywhere from 75% less to 50% less than Other places I purchase Organic color system Products. They hand wrote a little note on Receipt that really warmed my heart. There was also a surprise goodie bag with free samples And other really fun things!!! I am overjoyed with my purchase I saved a ton of money on my favorite products, Got free products & a kind Handwritten note. Highly recommend I’m only purchasing from them LOVE THIS!!!

This is an overdue 5-star review as I love Roots! I don't even know where to begin– maybe I can start with Laura (owner) and Madison. Laura is always so kind and positive and always welcomes people into her lovely store. She is knowledgeable about all the products and can help make sure you are taken care of! Madison is also just the best too. I love working with her and she is a guru when it comes to being a makeup artist– she also knows each product in & out! Madison is great– so much so that I wouldn't have anyone else do my wedding makeup other than her!

For my wedding, I coordinated with Roots and have not been disappointed. Laura and Madison were seamless to work with and made my experience so wonderful. They made it easy to do a trail run and planning was a breeze. I couldn't recommend them enough if you want your makeup done from Roots for your wedding day.

Lastly, I want to mention the products they source. You can trust the products are high quality for your skin/body. I feel like each product was sourced with intention. Every time I visit, I always find something new. I have never bought anything from Roots that I didn't like. Actually, I have found some brands/products I wouldn't have known if it wasn't for Roots!

I could say more– but they deserve all the highest stars!

Highly recommended! A hidden jewel in Laguna Beach! And not just for girls, but for guys as well! Laura and her wonderful team are so genuinely dedicated to making sure we grow into our most naturally beautiful self, all while celebrating a healthy state of mind. I love the hair and skin products, the customer service, the atmosphere, and just how enjoyable the shopping experience is at ROOTS! Oh, and when I’m not in Laguna, they also offer shipping, which is very helpful, too. Trust me, you’re in absolutely great hands at Roots.

I was so excited when I found this place, because it covers all my natural and non-toxic beauty and body care needs. I normally shop from Credo, but there is no store nearby where I can test the products in person - but this place has it all + more. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, and both me and my friends got some additional goodies as gifts with our purchases. I’m so excited to make this place my new go-to 🙂

Roots has been my favorite spot for years to have my hair and makeup done or to purchase products and gifts. Laura and her staff are talented gems. They are artists in their ability to make you look beautiful and natural. The store has the most current, clean, and quality cosmetics. I do not trust very many places and highly recommend roots!

The store itself is amazing product wise!

BUT be VERY careful getting your makeup done here for a special event.

I had a special event and not only did the girl doing my makeup run over an hour late doing my makeup, but it also was so poorly done that in the store I ended up having to redo my entire eye make up on my own.

BUT here’s the most wild part.
I spent about $267 on the make up products,
I had to run to my event with my makeup incomplete,

AND I was still charged the full price for the makeup application on top of the money I spent on the products
EVEN though I did half of my make up myself.

The experience was beyond AWFUL.

Please protect yourself.

I had the privilege of having my make up done here on my wedding day. The make up artist was amazing and she took the time to make sure I looked natural and yet ready for my pictures. I am so grateful I found her! I am a huge fan of their natural makeup and the ambiance was relaxing and lovely. 💕

Feeling uncomfortable after todays visit. But it’s been awkward for the entire 10 years I’ve been going there. It could be asked, why do I keep going?! I think the best description is: grudges. I returned an item 10 years ago and the owner seems to use it against me in what seems forever. Have never returned or exchanged anything ever since. And the hair dresser, who all I remember is my hair was damaged for years, seemed to awkwardly remember my name 10 years later (and not in a good way) and mentioned my looks, in true Laguna form, and said in a way that it wasn’t a compliment. “You look completely different” what does that even mean I didn’t care anyway what they thought about me. And since I don’t walk around ready to jab right back at people or say something about their looks in return, I wasn’t prepared with a comeback. I probably would’ve said, “You’ve been waiting 10 years to say that? So looks is your first thought?” I just thought it was very invasive. I guess not having any plastic surgery and being natural means “different”. I think after 10 years of feeling uncomfortable and bracing for the next dig comment, I think I’m done. But the other staff is friendly, helpful and kind and belong somewhere with better energy.
Natural beauty, if you’re reading this: You are young, you are beautiful, and those who have an attitude toward you or judge you says everything about them 🙏🏼 It takes more energy to hold a grudge than to just keep judgement of customers to yourself 🙂
