A crappy hotel, bad service, poor attention, dirty cabins. We rented 2 cabins and when we arrived they offered us 2 dirty places, and not only that, they told us that we could not use the bathrooms and that if we used them they would charge us a fine of $300.00, that if we wanted to go to the bathroom we had to go to another room to do our business. It is incredible that one pays for a piece of garbage, we came with children and we have to go out in the middle of the night to another room to be able to go to the bathroom. And the woman at the reception did not solve anything, she did not give us another room nor did she want to give us our money back
It's a shame that they have to give a star to say how bad the service is, because they deserve only negative ratings.
And the bathroom they offer us to go to looks like a public bathroom completely dirty with blood, feces, urine, dirty papers from other people.
This crappy hotel ruined our vacation. Unfortunately, it was the only vacant space available. If you are a clean person, don't stay here.
It's a shame that it doesn't allow me to upload photos of the filthy bathrooms they gave us.

Whatever you do, don’t stay here. I called to let them know we were running late, and I left them my phone number, they did not respond. I called again an hour later, left them my phone number again, and they did not respond. I got to the motel, rang the doorbell, knocked on the door, and no one answered. We then had to book a different motel (Paintbrush Inn) at the last minute in another area of town. The website for Roundtop Mountain Vista Cabins and Motel explicitly stated front desk was monitored “24/7”. It was not.

Angela was extremely helpful and accommodating, we even got upgraded to a bigger economy room from the cabin at no extra charge! She was super kind on the phone and got us all squared away, would definitely stay again if passing through the area. Cozy and cute motel!

We loved staying here! Everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I liked the external door directly to our car and we could easily walk downtown for dinner. We will be staying here again!

UPDATE: This review is more about the extremely poor condition of the room! If you look at all the reviews, you will see we are not the only ones who had a falling down room that was FILTHY!!!!!
YES: We were told about the water situation and we agreed to deal with the water temperature..But it was filthy so I am now changing my "service star" to a one due to the owner's rude and uncaring response..I can't believe I didn't look at the reviews as I normally do before booking. It was a spur of the moment anniversary adventure.....Not knowing the area we booked this on the through street so it was so loud at night trying to sleep. you could write your name in the blinds dirt and we actually went out for coffee as we did not want to make ours in the dirty coffee maker. The bed was fine and the sheets seemed to be clean, but the whole cabin was sunken on one side..so leaning tower of Pisa style shower. They had a hot water break and said they where unable to contact us, but did give us a cabin anyway as long as we agreed to look warm if not cold water and it was COLD.....we should have just asked for a refund and moved on. Most disappointing was the dirty room and I mean neglected care and the fact that the cabin was half sinking and that they could not "get ahold" of us about the hot water leak..They had 3 days..will not return

The room was in very poor condition. The smoke alarm was laying behind the tv with no batteries. The chairs outside were ripped and not likely to have held a person over 70 lbs. The shower was dripping all night and the floor had a puddle, and when I mentioned it, the person told me they knew but just haven't got around to fixing it. The coffee maker was a small, pink kuerig that had seen better days. The air unit was impossible to shut off. The paint was flaking on the walls. The radiator cover in the bath was laying loose on the floor. I only give points that the bed was comfortable and the location is good. It would not take a lot of effort to make the rooms look so much better. If it hadn't been so late, we would have tried for another lodging.

First off, the onsite manager, Maggie, is a wonderful person. Sadly, she must "manage" a facility where the owners apparently don't provide much support. We checked in and our room had not been cleaned. Someone made the bed but did not change the sheets. Used towels were in the bathroom. At best the motel is dingy. Our friends stayed in a cabin and the kitchen faucet had a constant leak/flow of hot water. We didn't bother to take showers as they were not at all appealing. Finally, the price is outrageous for what you get.||This place could be nice if the owners were to spend the money necessary to upgrade the property.||We will try a different facility next time in Thermopolis.

The owners are not looking at their reviews very well all say it needs renovations and we agree. The lady looking after it was lovely and friendly. But the accommodations need some major upgrades. Our shower would not stop dripping. I had to put the coffee pot on the floor to reach a power point. The vents need cleaning. The beds were ok but no mattress protectors on them. There are some sort of fittings around the room which I think cover pipes but they are all falling off. The door handle is held on with what looks like putty.
