I booked an appointment with Haley somewhat knowing what I wanted but not exactly. I told her I was open to suggestions as it’s been a long time since I got my hair done and had previously put box dye in my hair 😬. Haley was super helpful, professional, friendly and I really enjoyed talking with her. By the end of my appointment she completely blew all of my expectations away! She is AMAZING at what she does and I will be highly recommending her to friends and family.

I love this salon and my stylist, Telesha is so good! She is very informed on products that will work for my hair. She also isn't afraid to tell me no because its not the right thing for my hair 😂 and she's always right about that!

I’ve been going to salon Aura for years seeing the same stylist and my experience has been great. However recently I was just home for break and needed to get in kinda last minute so I scheduled with a different stylist. Note to self- ask around for references on stylist and not just schedule with anyone. $200 for a partial highlight no cut was about the price I was expecting. However the stylist did not really deliver on my expectations- money piece was much larger than reference photo provided. Stylist was not overly friendly and after washing my hair no products were used. NO HEAT PROTECTANT before curling!!! Kinda shocking!

I had my hair done through Haley, she was amazing. I had her for color a few months prior and then for trial for my wedding. Haley is fantastic, she saw my inspiration photo and made it look 10x better. I had 5 girls plus myself the morning getting ready and she knocked out everyone beautifully. She was on time, always communicating and her attention to detail was phenomenal. Which made it less stressful for me. By the end of the night mine and my girls hair was still in place and looking georgious. She knows exactly what she is doing and is exceptional at what she does. Definitely recommend Haley.

The entire experience was amazing from start to finish. They allowed my bridal party to hang out in their spa area while we waited. The girls were accommodating and listened to what we wanted. TeLesha was amazing. My hair and makeup was everything I imagined!

I recently got my hair colored and cut at this salon. I had a terrible experience with my hair from a different salon that totally ruined bleached my hair and gave me an awful hair cut as well. With my hair on the mend I was looking up this salon because I was looking for someone who could provide the services my hair needed. I have always herd wonderful things with Aveda so I committed. I picked Leah and I was beyond pleased. She was so understanding and sweet to me and gave me a total hair transformation I needed. She recommended some great products to use to help keep my hair on the mend. I think my favorite part was how she made me feel. She gave me my confidence back. I am definitely returning to Leah for all my future appointments! I loved her services thank you so much.

I’ve been going to this salon for a few years now, and usually I have TeLesha(who is very nice, on time, communicative, and listens to what I want).
Today I had a different stylist for my hair cut, and when I set up my appointment, it said it would be 45 minutes, starting at 12. I got there by 1150, was told the stylist would be right out, but I didn’t get called back until 1214. Everything felt rushed, I was back out in my car by 1242. I said I wanted a trim, with short layers and to freshen up the face framing bangs I have. We went back to wash my hair, and it was an aggressive washing experience where the stylist accidentally scratched my face with her nails, and dug into my scalp, then wrenched my neck into uncomfortable positions to rinse. When she cut my hair(there’s nothing wrong with it, it’s just trimmed all over, and the long layers I had were freshened up), I didn’t get the layering that I asked for. I sat in awkward silence for the majority of the appointment. She flipped my hair around a lot, so it got tangled quite a bit. At the end, she suddenly ripped the gown off of me, then almost as an afterthought asked me if I liked the haircut.

I felt like she didn’t want to be cutting my hair, didn’t want me in her seat, and didn’t want me as a client.

The salon is clean and well lit, the products smell nice and are apparently good for your hair, but the stylists seem like a weird toss up between invested and disinterested.

If I was just judging on my previous experiences with TeLesha, I would have left 4 stars, however this experience left me with a bad feeling overall.
