I had a really disappointing experience at this salon with Anne. While the dark brown color turned out fine, the copper highlights were a total letdown. They looked dull and flat once I saw them in natural light. It was nothing like what I had envisioned or asked for.

I didn’t feel comfortable going back to the same stylist to fix it after the first attempt. I was told the correction process would be long, and frankly, I didn’t have much faith that it would turn out the way I wanted. So, I had to go elsewhere for a color correction, which ended up costing me nearly $600 between both the original service and the fix—something that should’ve been around $150-$200.

To make things worse, she wouldn’t refund me unless I gave her another chance to fix it, but I just didn’t trust her to get it right after the first go. Even after providing the invoice for the correction, they still refused to work with me.

If you’re expecting vibrant, professional results and good customer service, I’d recommend going elsewhere. I definitely regret my experience here.

I highly recommend Anne at Salon Inspired! Not only do you get a relaxing environment with beautiful decor and big windows but, you get amazing results! She is a mad scientist with her colors and excels with any challenge I give her....and I've given her some challenges lol. She has gotten me platinum blonde, to cherry red, to black and copper! She is honest with the possibilities which I appreciate. She is the best and I will never go to anyone else!

I absolutely love this salon! The atmosphere is always welcoming, and the team is both professional and friendly. I’ve been seeing Anne for a while now, and every visit feels like catching up with an old friend. As a former hairstylist, I’m extremely particular about my hair, but Anne never disappoints. Whether it’s a bold color or a unique cut, she’s always up for my wild ideas while providing expert advice on what will truly work best for my hair. She consistently pushes creative boundaries and exceeds my expectations. This last time, due to work travel, it had been a while since my last appointment and my hair was a wreck—but I couldn’t stay away for long! Anne worked her magic with a fresh color and cut, so I’m all set to jet off again. I couldn’t recommend her and this salon enough!

It has been an absolute pleasure to find this cozy yet gorgeous boutique salon in Onalaska, Wisconsin! As a hair stylist myself, a space has to illuminate creativity, functionality and aesthetic. It allows has to have a vibe and this one is just that. I traveled in from out of town and as soon as o walked in the door I was greeted and felt like family; like I already belonged here. Oh my goodness!! We love going to see Anne at Salon Inspired. We have gone to her for several years. We drive 4 hours to have her do our hair—THAT’S HOW AWESOME SHE IS! Whenever I want a fun cut—she’s game! Whenever I want a fun color— she is all for it. I love to add in reds every once in a while and every time I leave satisfied with the result. Check out that gorgeous red color! She does amazing vibrant colors and she truly is a master at what she does!❤️

I am unable to respond to your response in regard to my review. The 2 pictures you posted were of the after and my inspo, not my before and after. 🤦🏼‍♀️ While I did initially like the color and tried to allow the rest of it to grow on me, it just wasn’t happening. When I went for a consultation with a different stylist, they made me aware of some major issues with the color itself, which is why I didn’t seek to have you fix it. I understand your intention to provide a good experience, and I appreciate the time and effort you put into the service, but given the situation, I felt it was best to move forward with a different stylist and request a refund.
I included the after and inspo in the response that you indicated was the before and after...
So I will include the actual before and after for reference.

Anne Drake has been one of the nicest hair stylists I have gone to since my move to Wisconsin. She always does a wonderful job, gives me good pointers for hair products or hair styles that would compliment my shape face and hair type, and she is very kind and friendly. The best hair cut experience I have ever had. This is no rush-job place, Jane spent almost an hour getting my hair just right. Had a shampoo, haircut, blow dry and style, all for less money than what most hair salons charge for just a shampoo and cut. I was very impressed.
