I have gone here a couple times and my experience is always subpar. Compared to other spas in the area, these treatments feel rushed and lacking. I have had upwards of 50 facials and understand that these treatments are less expensive than some I’ve had, so I did not expect it to be as luxurious as some of my more expensive facials. BUT this most recent experience of mine was a deal breaker.

I arrive for my appointment and lay down on the table. Without a single warning, the aesthetician starts on the dermaplane. Which was startling that I did not get a warning before a scalpel was taken to my face. There was also NO cleansing done prior to the dermaplane, so my face is breaking out and irritated today. I am broken out all over my cheeks and jawline this morning, less than 24 hours after my appointment. I went in to the appointment with only a couple break outs on my chin and around my temples.
For the first time, I found a dermaplane to be painful. Especially around my lips. I woke up with a minor case of perioral dermatitis due to how rough the scalpel was used around my lips.

At no point did the aesthetician explain what was going on or what she was going to do next.

During this entire experience, which I was hoping would be relaxing, the aesthetician is telling me how she doesn’t want to “spend her whole life washing people’s faces”. So I felt uncomfortable as she was complaining about her job while working with me.

Overall, a poor experience. I would not recommend getting your services done here, as there are better places around town.

today i went and had a dermaplane and hydro-facial by mandi and it was the most relaxing experience i have ever had, super super thankful for this beautiful girl and her team. she recommended me products and got me set up with a skin care line! they have amazing specials, and discounts, a monthly membership that i have become apart of. she has asked me questions about my skin history and has helped me so much just by one appointment, i will be coming back. 10/10❤️

Shine Facial Bar membership will forever be a nonnegotiable in my monthly budget! I love that I can achieve my skin goals without breaking my bank. The estheticians always have the best recommendations for how to care for my skin. The products they recommend don't break the bank and create amazing results. I love how I can always get an appointment, even if I decide last minute I need a service. I would definitely recommend anyone who is wanting healthier skin start adding appointments at SHINE to their monthly calendar!!

unfortunately I had a very disappointing experience with my first Diamondglow treatment today. the reception was very cold. I was neither told the lady's name nor was any step explained as to what she was doing. at the beginning the dermaplane treatment was very uncomfortable (I didn't know that). was very quick and loveless and from time to time it really hurt. Then came the actual diamondglow treatment, which felt like 5 minutes, then without a word I got a mask on my face and lay there for about 20 minutes without knowing what was going to happen or any steam device above me. I didn't even know that I was alone now. At some point the lady came in then took my mask off and put lotion on my face. I was totally shocked by this type of treatment and left the shop relatively without a word. when I first looked in the mirror I noticed a cut on my forehead and there was no sign of the treatment (clean pores). Removal of impurities and all that I actually loved so much after a facial treatment was completely absent. this treatment costs a lot of money, but I wouldn't do it again even for free. What a pity, I had been looking forward to the experience for weeks!

Absolutely beautiful office. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. For my first facial, I Started with a new client facial. Helen did a fantastic job and gave me samples to take home and try. Literally saw results after my first visit. Helen was very informative and gave me great feedback. She was patient with all my questions. I left with a hydrated face and another appointment. Highly recommended! If it’s your first time getting a facial, I recommend asking for Helen! She is great!
