Emy is such a talented esthetician! I’ve been coming to her for years now. We started with the eyebrows, they were very thin and light. Now they look SO much better. Natural and with the perfect shape/color. My powder winged eyeliner look as sharp as day one! Extremely professional, kind, and high standard of care for her clients.

My eyebrows never quite recovered from overplucking in the 90s. I was tired of filling them in and, frankly, doing a poor job of it. I was pretty anxious about having permanent makeup tattooed on my face but Emmy's impressive certifications and consistently excellent work brought me to Slay. Emmy guided me through the options and process of permanent makeup. Her shop is clean, she's easy to talk to, and she was attentive throughout the procedure and during aftercare. I was so stoked on the results I immediately booked her for winged eyeliner afterward- which also turned out awesome. Emmy is a gem and we are lucky to have such a talented esthetician in Humboldt!

I got a lash lift with Amber. It was a very lovely experience. Amber is professional, keeps light background music and tries her best to talk you through the process as well as keep a relaxing atmosphere. Not to mention my lashes look amazing now! Definitely recommend!

I went to Emy for my wedding makeup. She did a fantastic job! My biggest fear was that my makeup wouldn't last all day and night, but it did. The makeup stayed right in place and so did the fake eye lashes. I wanted a more natural look that just highlighted my natural coloring and she did that. But she was also able to cover up my uneven skin tone and make my skin look perfect. She somehow, just by looking at me, knew exactly what color foundation to mix for the perfect color. It blended seamlessly with the rest of my skin. I still don't know how she does it. The makeup is not heavy either, which is great. She also did the makeup for my 65 year old mother in law and did a fabulous job. Emy is very sweet and a lot of fun to talk to. The salon smells amazing every time I go in there and it is clean and very inviting. I would highly recommend Slay Studio.

Jillian is an amazing esthetician!!! I have had a facial, waxing, and eyelash extensions done by her and all were fabulous! My very sensitive skin was glowing and when she was done with me. She takes her time and is so detail oriented. The eyelash extensions look natural but also have that WOW factor. Go see her!!
