I gave this place and Rosie great review last time. Even said I didn't understand why they get such bad reviews. Well I found out today. Rosie did my manicure and I guess she's going for a personal record of the fastest manicure ever. Literally she was "ready" to polish in about 5 to 7 minutes. I wish I was exaggerating. When I asked to look at my nails because I thought she had rushed through it, she started tapping on the table, like impatiently. Then apparently I wasn't going fast enough because she pushed away from the table, gave me a look and without saying anything got up. She went to go finish another customer that was left in the chair half done and waiting. Here's the thing. I called ahead. Asked if they could see me (said I'd be there in 5 minutes) and they said yes. When I got here there were 4 people here (only 4 chairs) already getting service. I didn't say anything, sat down and just waited my turn. I'm not in a rush today. If you're busy, say your busy. Say you don't have time. If you don't wanna scare off business, and want me to come but need me to wait, when I get there, just ask me if I mind waiting. But sure as hell don't try and squeeze me in between half finished people, and do a less than professional job, and rush through me. Not cool. In the end she still never said a word to me and just pawned me off to another tech (Kim) who at least did a decent job. I think though this experience turned me off of this place though. Most likely, well definitely actually, won't be back!

I got a gel manicure and a pedicure from the older lady technician, I don’t remember her name, and she did an amazing job! It’s the most thorough manicure I’ve ever had and my nails lasted longer than ever even tho I work with my hands. She payed extreme attention to detail from start to finish and was great to talk to as well. It took a lot longer than other manicures I’ve had but the result was 100% worth it!

Was in town with my mom and popped into this nail salon one Sunday afternoon. We were kindly greeted and told to pick our color for our pedicures. Calvin did mine, I was extremely impressed with their level of nail care. It is one thing to get a pedicure where they quickly cut your nails and other to get a salon that tends to all the nail needs. My nails never looked healthier. Everyone in the salon was friendly but Calvin was hilarious and had me laughing the entire time. His sense of humor was on point, as were his pedicure skills. Only sad that we live 2 hours away but anytime we are here I will pop in!

I had a really disappointing time here. They were busier than they had maybe planned, because only 2 women were working. The whole service felt rushed. My pedicure was fine, she did get polish all over my toes and didn’t wipe them off, but after a shower it went away. My nails were so lumpy and unevenly painted. There were towels fibers in the polish and I kept picking them out. She would then apply paint over the affected area. I have been traveling for 2 weeks and was really looking forward to a relaxing time at the nail salon and a cute new color to finish the trip, but when I left the salon I was almost in tears. They did seem to have a few happy returning customers, so maybe it was an off day for my service provider or she knew I was probably never going to be there again and it didn’t matter. Either way, if I were you and I was traveling to Solvang, I would book an appt elsewhere.

Absolutely worst salon experience I have had! Took about 2 hours for dip, charged about $20 more than anywhere I have been previously and nails were lumpy at the end, three of the add-on nails have popped off and chipped within just one week of service. Also very small selection of colors for dip services, had to have a salon in Santa Maria repair my nails.

I really wanted to like this place. Not only is it close to my house, but I like supporting local businesses. Unfortunately, my experience was rather disappointing.

Hands: I requested coffin style nails with dip powder. I was given the sample pre-painted nails where you choose a dip powder color. I chose #470. As you can see on the picture, the end result is a shape that's clearly NOT coffin style. When my nails were done, the dip color was COMPLETELY different from what I had selected, and this is when I was informed that I selected from the gel colors and the gel and dip #470 are not the same, so she painted over with the gel color.

This morning, several of my cuticles and nail beds are tender from unpleasant drill pressure and bumps sustained during removal of my old dip set( done at a different nail salon).

The ladies were nice, the place was clean and they had obvious return clients that seemed happy. The lady that did my hands expressed apologies for my dissatisfaction.

Overall, this was a $57 waste of my time and money, because I will definitely get them redone somewhere else once the tenderness subsides.

Feet: The pedicure was ok enough that if I'm ever in a time crunch, I'd go back. Just not for the hands.

Very pleased with the services here. They really try to talk with you in a genuine way and they take care of you, they don’t rush anything. Prices are fair and the quality of service is great. I would come back!
