My husband was treated for Rhabdomyolysis in the emergency room. We was in the er for 4 hours before they โ€œadmittedโ€ him. they were seriously understaffed. They only came to check on him maybe twice in the first 4 hours we were there until we both started asking why. They kept making excuses for their lack of care. he was admitted through the er but there were no beds available so we spent the night in the er but was still billed for a hospital room. We had no pillows or blankets and was smarted off by a male nurse twice when we asked if they could fix his IV. He definitely did not get the standard of care he needed or deserved.

The worse hospital I've seen, staff and doctor are rude and not professional at all. Doctor told husband if he could eat and keep it down he would release him. They never brought him a tray, I had to go get him something to eat. Nurses sit around on their phones while you stand there to ask questions. I would not recommend this place.

We have been here 4 times this year. Each and every time we get the best care possible. The staff is a loving and caring group and will take good care of you.
I am so thankful to have such a nice hospital in our small town.

Doctor Jonathan B. Dale did a wonderful job setting my splint. Would've been nice if he hadn't treated me like a drug-chasing junkie just because I showed up at 4:00a.m., though. Even if I HAD been that and not someone with a fractured elbow, every single person who enters an emergency room deserves to be treated with basic human respect. So thank you for your exemplary care, but geez, would it kill you to be nice?

Hubby took me to ER due to vomiting and diarrhea. I had become severely dehydrated. From registration to nurses to the doctors and being admitted overnight onto dealing with billing later, I can honestly say everyone was fantastic.

Horrible experience! I was scheduled for an echocardiogram yesterday. They asked for $192 up front, took me back for the test, started the echo, immediately stopped and told me that test wasn't going to work. I took a day off work, drove over an hour each way, for haphazard care! Shame on you!

I can't say enough good things about this facility and the people that work there.
I live in Virginia but was in Nicholas County on a two-week vacation when a kidney stone decided it wanted to ruin my life. I was by myself but had my dog with me and didn't know what to do. I'm so grateful that some of the ladies at the hospital said that they would watch him while I was being treated.

A very heartfelt thank you to everybody in the emergency department including the security guards that stepped up and took Freckles for a walk.

The doctors don't listen at all. We begged them to send husband out with elevated troponin but kept saying not having a heart attack. Finally sent him out and Dr at other hospital said should have been sent out earlier. He did have heart attack. They refused to listen and showed no compassion.
