Taryn is the ultimate lash pro! I've been going to her for the past few years and she is by far the best eyelash artist that i've ever seen. She is precise, works quickly, and always delivers the look I'm going for. Taryn is a great communicator and booking online is super easy. Even when my work schedule gets crazy, she has been very accommodating and makes time to see me. My lashes hold up a week or two longer than anywhere i've gone to previously which is a cherry on top of an already awesome experience. Go see Taryn, you won't regret it!

I’ve been seeing taryn for a year now and it’s not an exaggeration to say she sparks joy for me every 3 weeks 🙂 she’s kind, warm, thoughtful, helpful, and that’s all on top of being extremely professional and excellent at her eyelash extensions work. I get compliments daily on my lashes, and it’s not uncommon that 3 weeks later they’re still in such great shape which I think is a testament to her meticulous application. She’s been super accommodating of my full time working parent schedule, which means so much to me as I often struggle to fit in “me time”. I have been going to Taryn for my lash needs for nearly 4 years. She has done it all for me! Originally, I started going to her for lash extensions. She always knew how to make them look natural, yet fabulous. Due to a general change in preferences, I now go to her for lash lifts. My lashes always look flawless! She even remembers which eye needs to sit longer with the serum, since I never can lol. Aside from her skills, Taryn is a sweetie. It can be daunting to sit with someone with your eyes closed for an hour, but Taryn makes sure I am comfortable and is fun to talk to. Lastly, Taryn has been flexible with me. My work schedule can be a nightmare to work around and I'm constantly going on last minute trips - Taryn always finds a way to squeeze me in 🙂

Taryn did a lash lift and tint for me. The space is gorgeous and I’d like to mention how comfortable the table is, the pillow is heaven. I don’t leave the house without mascara and a tint and lift is something i treat myself too before vacation. I’m very happy with the results.

Eyebrow tinting was all over my face and the lash tint got in both eyes and stung so badly I couldnt see to drive home. She never rinsed off the dye! It stained my skin so badly I'm too embarrassed to go out in public.
Nice girl, but wow.
Update:
No response from the store. And it took several days to get the dye off my face. People have commented on how bad I look.

Emily is amazing!! I have received both a facial and eyebrow waxing. She is extremely attentive to your needs and is kind and friendly. She uses top of the line products and is very knowledgable about skin care. I am a grad student with very limited funds, but when I allow myself to splurge a little, she is the first place I want to go. I love Emily, and The Beauty Nook.

Emily knows her stuff - and she knows how to make waxing painless - and dare I say it - fun! I don't get in as often as my eyebrows need it, but when I do - she makes them look fabulous! I highly recommend her for all your waxing needs! And I LOVE her new place - it makes coming in feel like a vacation.
