The Blossoms at Van Buren Rehab & Nursing Center

Run! Do not put your loved one in this facility! Don't even put your worst enemy in there! Abuse, neglect, malnutrition, dirty, smelly ...are just a few words that come to mind. Understaffed as well! How they have not been shut down is a miracle! This is not the same ownership or staff as it was when it was Crawford Healthcare and Rehab, which was wonderful.

Wonderful caring and helpful staff. Everyone from the cleaning crew to the administrator. The nurses are short staffed but do their best to put a smile on their faces for those that are unable to care for themselves. The facility is clean and has no odors. I’m glad to know they are taking care of my aunt.I appreciate all that they do for her.

The Blossoms is an older facility but has done upgrades. Don’t let the decor stop you from placing your loved one here. My Mom was there a couple of months before her passing. She was always clean and her room was kept spotless. The nurses and CNAs are some of the best I’ve encountered! Mom could be a handful at times yet they treated her with such compassion. She would often be out by the nursing station in a wheelchair because she wanted to be near someone. Thank you to each and every one who cared for Edna Pauline Pierce?

Very poor care... A friend was there for rehabilitation therapy after hip surgery and received very poor care

Just wanted to back up most of the other reviews here about the lack of care at this facility. Patient's are supposed to be able to come here to recover from surgeries and regain independence? Terrible. Do not send your loved one here.

My old roommate is not coming back i left several messages and told them i would like a bed bound resident that doesnt yell i was told by the maint.man that i was getting a roommate today no one has told me any thing i have the right to know and Ive called the complaint phone number but never called back like i said You take our money but we don't get the services it's sad when a Nursing Home runs out of certain food and the dietary supervisor and myself had to Buy it and nobody gets their money back the don told a cna she couldnt pick up her sick child but she had to the daycare called and she told one of them she had to have a drivers licence to work here i over heard this and they will use it against me you have a shift key CNA that don't even know how to help put a resident to bed your paying him to do nothing

My grandmother was NOT treated well at this facilty. Her Exelon patches were not removed daily when the new one was applied. When she arrived at hospital she had three still stuck on her back. Negligence is an understatement. Don't put your loved ones here if you care about them. This is not a Health Care facility, rather a dumping ground for those who they are just waiting to pass.
