The Home Depot

Absolutely awful management with no resolution. We waited 45 minutes for nothing. We came in to pick up a Christmas gift because we had a rented U-Haul, so we looked up the item we wanted and came in with the SKUs in hand. We couldn’t find it so we asked for help. We were ignored by one staff member. Another lady named M tried to help us by looking all over the store, despite the fact she told us “she’s not very good with this”. so she called for her manager gabby who just walked away. We told M that we were on a time crunch because the U-Hail charges by time used. M called for one more manager, a guy named Chris to come over and help, who turned out to be the guy who ignored us in the first place. He told us what we wanted could have been shipped to us for free. Why weren’t we told this was an option in the first place? Seriously frustrated, this wasted nearly an hour of limited time with a rental van to move stuff. As we leave the parking lot upset? We see gabby laughing outside with Coworkers. Feeling seriously disrespected right now, and I definitely won’t shop at this location again. Management seriously needs to be retrained. Absolutely awful experience In store.

The best part about Home Depot is the place always has what I want and need. The service is great, like I just purchased some wood and they made custom cuts for me at no extra charge.

I'd like to leave a review of Lance and Kyle in the lumber department. They help me cut some pieces and were a pleasure to work with. They immediately stopped what they were doing and assisted me. They were incredibly friendly and courteous. I do hope that in their quarterly or monthly review, they get a raise!

Called ahead asked do you price match. Employee said YES. John gave me such a hard time. He’s works in the area where the big door is. Manager? He wanted proof email from Dixie line lumber in Escondido. WOW yea that’s not going to happen. Like jump thru this hoop. Or stand on your head. Any way Dixieland prices are 85 cents cheaper than home depot on fence pickets. I saved $17.00 buying just 20 fence pickets. That’s a lot. Home Depot your too expensive.

I live nearby and needed one small pvc pipe and had just gotten out of surgery so I came to this location on Saturday may 11 at 8:20 pm and I recieved the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life. There was maybe one cashier open and 7 exployees just talking and hanging out behind the return side. I had went to ask if they could check out my item since I had just gotten out of surgery and my car was parked on that side and they starting snickering at me and asking if I was dumb and then proceeded to taunt me with an older white male customer who was returning something with his wife. I then walked to the self checkout to checkout my items and I asked the employee standing nearby if they accepted Apple Pay and she said “nope we dont” extremely rude. After that second encounter I just dropped my items I was going to purchase and walked out. It seems the night crew seriously needs to be fired or talked too because they all seem to hate their job and just wanna go hangout. This was the most unprofessional experience I’ve ever had.

Prices are getting more and more expensive here at Home Depot. Found fence pickets 85 cents cheaper at dixieline lumber in Escondido. Homedepot price is $5.18 per picket dixieline same kind is $4.29. That adds up I saved $17.00 homedepot does not want to price match. Really. They want a print out like prove to them that others are less expensive.

I went out to purchase a product they readily had available in large quantities. Fortunately, I came across Olivia who offered me a great deal through their credit services. She was able to take care of me immediately, and I was more than happy making my purchase. I plan to return in the near future since this home depot contains items I normally wouldn't find in others. Thanks again!
