This is such a fun little place. It doesn't have a ton of homemade chocolates and candies like a lot of similar style shops, but they have a ton of other specialty candy you can't find in standard grocery stores.

Where the shop really shines is its atmosphere. I don't know how long it's been in operation for, but it's like taking a step back in time to the early 1900s. Everything is so beautifully well maintained. Even the bathrooms have a vintage feel with teal sinks. Whether you're stopping in for an ice cream or want to browse the candy aisles, I'd highly recommend adding this place to your must see list when in downtown LaCrosse.

I've been to this ice cream shop a few different times when meeting new friends who are not from the area. I love recommending this place and showing people the shop because there aren't many like it around. It has a nice, cozy feel when you walk in, and the store always smells really good. Went here for ice cream for the first time a few days ago and honestly it is top tier for small mom and pop ice cream parlors. The service is great along with great selections. The homemade waffle cones take the cake.

i can sum this visit to the Pearl in three letters. OMG! Awesome homemade waffle cones and the ice cream , again OMG. We came on a recommendation from the bartender at the Crow who suggested we stop on our walk back to our hotel because they do not serve dessert. Thank you for the recommendation Crow you made a great night greater. You have to stop here if in Lacrosse. We definitely will.

Such a cool and historical ice cream and candy shop in the heart of downtown la crosse. I have been coming here for decades. The malts are incredible, and I bought some sweets here as well, which they packaged in a cute box. Can’t wait for my next visit.

Walking in it smelled amazing, so many interesting things. The ladies behind the counter were so inviting and funny. My only bad things were the two products that were bought. I got the brownie cappuccino something flavored ice cream and had it made into a milkshake, it tasted extremely freezer burnt and almost like it was made with a sugar free cappuccino powder mix. My friend bought a bag of tootie fruities (fruity Tootsie rolls) for $4 something. They were hard and tasted awful. Like they had been sitting for a very long time.

Was packed when I went on an August Saturday, but it didn’t take long to get through the line. I had the Oreo Cappuccino on the homemade waffle cones, great price and I got to see someone making the waffle cones while waiting in line! Definitely want to get back here and try their other flavors and offerings, the ice cream I got was outstanding.
