After a horrible experience with my brows from a woman in Rocklin who gave me dark, ashy brown brows, (I am a natural redhead) and berated me about not being able to take the pain telling me, "you need to take a vicodin before you come in". I told her, redheads require more numbing, but she didn't listen. She also blamed me and her product line for my incorrect color. I further endured a painful "correction" and two painful salicylic acid removal attempts with that woman before giving up and trying another highly recommend professional. Sadly, several thousand dollars, 2 painful saline, and 3 laser removals later I felt traumatized, defeated and as someone that rately wears makeup, I deeply regretted my decision to have permanent makeup done in my 50's.

Disliking what I saw in the mirror and healed from my third laser removal, I decided to try and find someone who could fix my brows and liner and found Linda. I was highly skeptical, but read all the reviews, looked at her work, grilled her assistant and finally took the leap of faith to let Linda help me.

Linda doesn't exaggerate about her skills or her amazing numbing technique. I was fully prepared for intense pain, but I actually cried tears of relief when I felt nothing but a little pressure on my brows. This alone is reason enough to see Linda, but her quality of work is outstanding. I have only still have to go back in January to finalize my brows, but the initial work on my liner and brows has been so outstanding, I felt compelled to post a review.

This is a simple, clean location run by the sweetest women, and Linda is a gifted professional with her own unique way of delivering beauty to her clients that feels more like a gift than a service and you cannot beat her rates.

I can hardly wait for January.

I am Linda's part time assistant, and have been for several years. I have had my eyeliner (17 years old) brows and my lips done by Linda. I would never go to anyone else. I have seen some of the disasters that she has had to fix. It is amazing what she can do after someone else has messed up.
I read the review regarding the 3 time rescheduled appointment. That is totally her staffs responsibility.

Linda Woods does, by far, the best job ever for permanent makeup. I've had my eyebrows done, I've had eyeliner done top and bottom, and I've had my lips done. She has a painless technique . I just had my lips done today, and I am amazed at how pain-free it was. She uses some good numbing cream that works great. I could lay in her chair all day long having her tattoo my lips because it's so painless. Honestly, no pain. Plus, it's wonderful waking up in the morning and just putting on gloss and go!! Very few technicians can do a bottom wet line, which is putting eyeliner just above the lash line on your bottom lashes instead of underneath it. Linda is such a perfectionist at everything she does which is why I trust her completely on which colors work best, the shape for my eyebrows, etc. I don't want this to sound like it's a fake review, so I'll just end with how pleased I am to have found Linda Woods. I would never go to anybody else. She's Number 1 in her line of business. Just an added bonus, her salon is easy to find, clean, professional, free parking, and she even sells some great products.
