Absolutely amazing experience! I felt nothing but welcomed the entire time I was here. Sandy (junior stylist) was so fun to talk to and get to know, and was super focused on making sure I was happy with my hair! Thank you so much to Charles also, I'll definitely be back! ❤️

Ok, I am bad at reviews-Amazon hates me. However, after going to this salon for more than the last two years I just have to write something. In complete honesty this is the best salon I have been to since my favorite hair stylist moved to another state back in 1994-really. Charles listens to what I want or what I think I want. He is candid and offers good insight on what is good and right for my hair and my lifestyle. The Salon at Mount Horeb is comfy and relaxing. Not a big pretentious bank of mirrors with everything "in the back". Save that for the Wizard of OZ behind the curtain. Staff is warm and focused on the clients. So, I have had several hair styles over the last two years and this last one today nudged me off my lazy @#S because it is incredible and to actually let someone read a real take on the experience. Go, give it a try!

The Salon in Mount Horeb is the best hair salon/barber/styling place in southern Wisconsin. It is very clean and the stylists are kind and welcoming. Charles has cut my hair several times and before I was lucky enough to find him, I struggled finding a stylist that could do an even decent job. It is really tough finding a barber or hair stylist that can cut a fade, let alone style and trim the rest, but Charles and his team at The Salon do it right, every time!

First time going to this salon to get a haircut. The all around experience I had was amazing. It is very clean, the decor is great and the set up is very professional. I got a 0-3 mid fade and I have got to say this has to be one of the best places I have gotten a haircut in years. The attention to detail that Charles has is impeccable. I would highly recommend booking an appointment and see for yourself. My new go to spot.

I have bounced around to salons over the years but I have finally found a place I feel comfortable and leave feeling amazing (and looking amazing might I add). Charles has always been the so welcoming and been able to squeeze in a quick appointment whenever needed. I especially appreciate The Salons generosity in the community and the willingness to be there for other business owners. It’s were my entire family gets their haircut now!

Charlie was great with my teen boys. A nice trim and some layers for the one with long hair and a re-shaping for the other one working on a new style. I appreciated that he didn't push pricey products knowing they probably wouldn't use them and gave some reasonable recommendations. The salon itself was gorgeous and the girl at the desk was polite offering drinks etc. We will definitely be back.

I met Charles when the Salon first opened due to his post on Facebook. From that post, I knew he brought a big city, creative aspect to hair styling. Since my first cut, I've had the pleasure of seeing The Salon @ Mount Horeb do a complete decorating transformation while his hair talent has remained consistently great. Charles just "knows" what works for his clients. I don't walk out of the Salon uttering to myself that I can hardly wait to get home and wet my hair down so I can style it myself - we've all done that leaving salons, right? 🙂 Treat yourself....book an appointment with Charles. It will be your first of many - I guarantee it.
