This is my first time visiting the Tokyo Beauty store. The store carries many Japanese and Asian daily necessities, kitchen supplies, and skin care products. Some of the items are hard to find in the local stores. The prices of most of the items are reasonable. The customer service is friendly and attentive. I know I'll have one more store on my list to shop next time I visit the San Francisco Premium Outlets.

I recently visited Tokyo Beauty and had a fantastic experience! The customer service was exceptional – the staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to help me find everything I needed. The variety of products available is impressive, from traditional Japanese items to modern goods. I was particularly pleased with the high quality and unique selection. It’s clear that a lot of care and thought goes into curating their inventory. I highly recommend Tokyo Beauty to anyone looking for authentic Japanese products and excellent service. I will definitely be returning!

Most craziest Japanese store in the world they have almost everything. This is super good for shopping experience. (Btw I came from Canada and they also have 20+ store in Toronto) big love to all the workers that helped me, specially the manager called Vickey she is super nice omg

Vicky was very nice and helpful! I love this store soo much! I live in downtown SF and I come all the way to Livermore to get the Japanese goodies! If I could rate this store 1,000 stars I would! It’s very good customer service and amazing products!

This will be a long one, but it took a few visits to really understand what I liked and disliked.

I'll start with the dislike. They ran out of a ramen bowl that I really liked and although it was on sale for awhile and I purchased many of them, I am low and cannot find them anywhere. -1 for changing inventory

What I like: they are attentive and friendly in an overly attached girlfriend sorta way, but it's appreciated. I've been there numerous times and a worker I only know as Tuna, has remembered us and remembered the products we're looking for. He said sonething about a tingle when we're around, but I'm pretty sure it was when he was explaining the Tsubaki x Shisheido shampoo. The prices for the hair and facial products are much better than online and local Japanese markets, by a lot, so we keep going back and stocking up. Tingle aside, the selection changes, unlike many of the surrounding stores, the staff are just clingy enough that I feel like I'm shopping at a local store. In all, I have never cared about my hair and facial care enough to be interested, but the prices, service and location make it a regular stop when we're in the area.

Tl;dr - Worth a stop if you're at the outlets, but a must if you like Shisheido and Japanese hair and facial care products. OK selection, but it does change.

If you are of any other ethnicity DO NOT come in. My family and I came to this store after a long morning of shopping before our big family vacation. At first they were nice, but I am not to sure if it was the fact that we had multiple store bags was intimidating. I know theft is a HUGE issue right now. However, two employees on each side of the aisle staring at you and your bags is really gut wrenching. First I was like
Okay maybe this their way of providing customer service when asked constantly what we were looking for (but staring in our bags). Once the action was repeated throughout each aisle it was not longer customer service but asset protection . No one else in that store was getting that issue.. but yet again my family and I were the only ones of different ethnicity. This treatment is simply heartbreaking. And out right harassment.
