I’ve gotten my hair done several times by Abby, Dom, and Flora, and I don’t care who does my hair because each one does so amazing! The salon itself is very cozy and nice, and the artists are all super nice, communicative, and great at cutting, dying, and styling. This is the only salon I’ve ever continuously returned to and I will definitely continue that.

I’m so glad I found True Essence and Dominique. I’ve been going to her for more than a year now and she has helped me transform my hair with her skill and knowledge. Wonderful salon!! Dominique went out of her way to help me get an appointment in her shop after another salon cancelled on me before a big work photo shoot. Her spot is beautiful and everyone seems so happy to be there. My stylist Kathleen was amazing, she listened to my needs but I trusted her vision and she made my hair look naturally amazing. I was really stressed before the photo shoot, but this salon made me feel confident and beautiful.

I believe it will be 2 years this Fall that I’ve been getting my hair cut and eyebrows waxed at True Essence. I still remember when I first walked into the salon, I knew this was a place/space for me. The abundance of thriving plants, the warm & grounding feel, the art hanging on the ceiling above the wash sinks so you have something nice to look at instead of just lights & ceiling tile, the caring and fun dialogue of the clients and staff. And I absolutely love my haircuts, Thank You Dominique!! I consider the True Essence team to be the graphic designers, engineers and manual labor of hair: They have to envision it, figure out how and what to do to make the vision come to be and the manual labor to achieve the end results!

Always love my hair experience with Dominique! She’s wonderful, takes time to listen to what you’d like and has so many options for other fun things to do.
