I had an absolutely fantastic experience with Valeriya at VP Aesthetics! This was my first time getting microneedling, and I couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to the treatment. She took the time to explain the process thoroughly, answering all my questions and making sure I was comfortable every step of the way. Admittedly I know nothing about skincare so I love that I can tell Valeriya my goals and she’ll lay out a plan to achieve those goals. Yesterday was my second time at the cute in-home spa, and my second treatment involved micro needling to address the red, flaky spots on my cheeks and the fine lines around my mouth and eyes.

I have never had micro needling done before and Valeriya walked me through every step. She used numbing cream so honestly, it felt like if I were to use my electric toothbrush on my face. She only went moderately deep this time to see how my face would react. Day two and it is slightly red (to be expected) but not painful, tight or uncomfortable at all!

I cannot wait to go back and see Valeriya as my reward to myself. We have already laid out what we can work on between now and my next micro needling session (go ahead and get the package!) and I cannot wait to pop in to see Valeriya between meetings.

I went to VP aesthetics for a facial recently. Here is why I lived VP aesthetics and will 100% go back.
A) the approach Valeriya has isn’t cookie cutter, it’s personalized. I don’t know anything about skincare but at 41 I know I need to do something. So going to a typical spa is daunting as I don’t know what facial I need to choose? Hydration? Clarifying? How would I know?! I just know what I want and thankfully, Valeriya knows what I need. So I don’t waste my money signing up for a facial that won’t give me the results I want. Valeriya takes the time to understand my concerns, walk me through her recommendations, and she sets expectations for results.
B) I work full time and have 2 little kids. Half the reason I don’t take time for myself is the travel time necessary to take time for myself. A one hour facial sounds delightful but when I need to drive 30 min each way to get one, i don’t have time for that (although the attention I got from Valeriya would be worth it for you folks coming from outside of Erie). Now I have a local place to go conveniently tucked into my neighborhood.
C) the pricing is so reasonable. Did I mention the facial I got was customized? When I have ventured to a traditional spa in the past I felt like they tacked on an additional cost for everything! You sign up for a hydration facial but need a couple extractions? Add $20 here, $20 there. My customized facial address the hydration I needed, the small patch of redness and scales and exfoliating I needed. Seriously, where else do you get that!? Plus, let’s be honest, as a 41 year old, I’m gonna need more than just 1 facial to achieve my results and Valeriya has packages! With rising prices of all the things, who doesn’t love a deal?
D) this is more of a feel good reason but I love the idea of supporting a locally owned, female owned business. Valeriya’s in home aesthetics still offers the relaxation and escape that I’d get from going to a big chain but without the impersonal feel. Her treatment room is warm and inviting.
