I had the best experience with Jenean for my permanent eyeliner. First and foremost, she has the best personality! She explained everything to me in detail before anything happened, she re-explained everything prior to my appointment, and then again afterwards.
I've had tattoo experiences in the past where I just thought my skin wouldn't hold the ink, but, Jenean worked her magic and volia! The eyeliner is holding SO well! I'm amazed and so grateful a friend recommended her to me.
Also, the office ambiance is stellar! It's this gorgeous and serene calming oasis, I adore the space.

Jenean did my tattooed eyebrows a couple of months ago and I was very pleased. After they healed we discussed eye liner. I had never worn eyeliner, so we did a “test” with regular eyeliner. It looked great so she went ahead tattooed the eyeliner and did a great job. Today she filled it in a bit more. It looks so awesone! I’ve received several compliments on both tattoos! I’ll be back again for touch ups.

Jenean did hair stroke eyebrows for me and I love them. I had absolutely no eyebrows to start with. I was very scared and Jenean made me feel perfectly comfortable. I felt no pain at all. Severe migration of ink from wrong ink, location, and technique

Jenean was sweet, but...

She tattooed the outside corner, the "lateral canthus", which led to severe migration of the ink. When we used a marker to mark where she would tattoo she had left the corners unmarked. I asked if she could connect the lines and she told me she couldn't because that location will usually migrate. I said OK. But then, when she got there, she said, "oh well let's just try it", without asking, and quickly inked the corners.

You can see the pictures of what happened as a result. It was so dark that it was difficult to cover up even with my heavy concealer. It made me look depressed and like the "Emos" wear their dark smudgy eye makeup, pulling the outside corners down.

Also the ink migrated below the lower line and above on my eyelid, in some places looking like black smudges and mostly looking like blue eye shadow. I hate blue eye shadow, by the way, since it went out of style after the 80's.

She informed me that she used body tattoo ink rather than cosmetic tattoo ink to get a darker look. She also informed me that body tattoo ink is a smaller molecule and is more likely to migrate in locations on the face that tend to swell easily.

The woman who replaced her mistakes thinks she also probably was too aggressive and caused more swelling than was necessary.

We started with a saline tattoo removal treatment during which she injected saline solution with her tattoo needles. Very painful and long scab healing. Then I started doing laser tattoo removal which is EXTREMELY painful, taking time off work to go. And I had to wait eight+ weeks between sessions. Meanwhile I had to cover up the dark corners and smudges constantly.

She had agreed to go over everything with the correct ink, location, and technique. The touchup is part of the fee I paid. Then, after the second to last treatment I've had so far she said she wouldn't. The nurse doing the removal recommended she not try with me. After Jenean admitted to both of those mistakes she and the nurse thought it also had to do with my tendency to swell. So I was left with partially removed eyeliner.

I found another cosmetic tattoo artist and paid her to cover over Jenean's botched job. I was scared that it would happen again. But I had much less swelling and zero migration. I am very happy with my eyeliner from this other cosmetic tattoo artist.

It has now been a year and I still have some dark in my corners. I am getting married in three weeks.

Jenean has paid for all the tattoo removal treatments. But she will not give me a refund for her botched job that had to be removed and replaced, and did not fulfill her agreement to do a touch up that the fee I paid included. She started off owning up to everything, feeling very bad about what she did and how it has affected me, and paying for the removal treatments, so I thought she had professional integrity. But true professionals would fix their work, getting it right. If they couldn't complete the treatment to get it right they would give a refund. And, in either case, they would would pay me something more than a refund to account for my pain and suffering that they caused.

Another cosmetic tattoo artist asked if she was insured. I don't know, but I am going to find out.

Jenean is absolutely fabulous! She was attentive, caring and very patient. She took her time and was just as concerned with my brows looking perfect for me as I was. This is probably one of the best things I've done for myself in a very long time.

The experience that I had with this person was bizarre, really weird. In 2016 I contacted her asking for a consultation. I had a previous permanent make up and I wanted to know what was best for me. She told me that she could treat me as long as I buy some products that she was selling. I'm not joking. I spent $150 with that (it was a scam called THRIVE). Then, she charged me $400 for the permanent make up. I paid cash and she never gave me a receipt. I didn't like her work. I forgot to mention that before accepting me as a client, she sent me a Facebook friendship request. That was so creepy. At the end, I had to remove her and block her. Anyway, luckily, I found another person, a decent, ethical, honest person who gave me good advice and told me that I shouldn't have had a new permanent make up, but rather a laser removal treatment. I wouldn't recommend that Janine person to anyone.
