This is the most incompetent pharmacy I've ever had to deal with. I will say it's their call center that is incompetent and not the actual pharmacy. I've been a patient there several years and about 50% of the time when I call for a refill I'm told they're not able to find me in the system. Occasionally, it's a quick refill and I receive the medication in the mail the week I request a refill.
The medication I have from Wells is a subcutaneous injectable, which is obviously written as such on the prescription. I'm frequently sent the wrong needles which are very large gauge (18g) and 1" in length, neither would be used for subcutaneous injections. The person who handles the call is not medical and only needs a GED and has zero investment in patients in which this pharmacy services.
There have been times I called for a refill and was told it would be processed only to then received calls every two days from the call center asking me the same questions stating they weren't able to process refill until questions were asked (though they called me for a week, every other day). Each time I explained that someone had just called me and they had no record in their system.
This last time I called in for a refill I was on the phone for an entire hour. I called the week prior and was told MD needed to send a new Rx and they'd reach out to MD (as did I as and new Rx was sent in by MD). After no calls or receiving med, I called a week later. I was told I wasn't in their system (though I've been a patient here for years). I was then was told the MD had not sent in an Rx and that they had not reached out to MD as they had no record of refill request. Finally after 40 minutes I was told some round-a-bout story how they did have a refill authorization/new Rx from MD.
I was then told it would take 20 days to process. At this point, my refill will have taken a month/30 days.
Again, this is all the call center this pharmacy uses which is impossible to reach someone at the actual location in Ocala, FL.
I will be finding a new compound pharmacy.
