We stayed here for 2 nights and cannot recommend this place enough! A great location with Yosemite National Park just a short drive away. Our room was extremely comfortable, spacious and cozy.

Before our stay, Ron checked in with us and helped with our queries regarding Yosemite National Park.

Breakfast was amazing and Helene’s baked treats are simply delicious!

First time staying at a bed & breakfast. A bit apprehensive at first but glad we booked. We enjoyed the wonderful breakfast every morning. Helene had great advice on nearby restaurants and hikes in Yosemite. If it was closer to the park (about 40 min away) we would stay here every time! Thank you for the memories.

We had a wonderful stay at Yosemite Plaisance. It’s a great location for getting in and out the park. The room is very comfy, and the host is brilliant - especially the delicious breakfast each morning!

We had such a lovely stay here. The B&B is splendidly charming and located conveniently for trips to Yosemite National Park. Helene and Ron are such kind and generous hosts. They provide delightful breakfasts every morning, share great recommendations on what to do in the local area and the park, and even send you off with sweet treats to enjoy on your hikes! Helene even went out of her way to get a small gift for me when she learned it was my birthday. We hope to be back someday!

Our stay was absolutely perfect, from Sept 29-Oct 1. I've never stayed at a bed and breakfast before but I feel like Helen made our stay more enjoyable than any other we will experience. She was so sweet and welcoming. I did not read the email about check in hours and we came in way past 8 pm and I didn't call to notify her so please be aware of that. She was very sweet about it too. She's had this b&b for 10 yrs, I think hospitality is definitely her calling. She makes delicious homemade breakfasts. Her eggs are so good! The French toast was delicious! Her husband makes homemade bread that we were lucky enough to have on both mornings we were there. Helen made peach jam that was amazing. She gave us a little homemade treat to take with us each day. She was so sweet with my 3 year old daughter and they have a little playhouse in the front yard that she enjoyed. The room was comfortable and clean. King and queen size bed. Mini fridge, ac and heating. Wifi worked well. She only has three rooms so if you are lucky enough to have your dates available, don't hesitate to book. This means she takes care of the property since it's a part of her home, it's not an overly crowded place. Each room is separate, with separate entries, no shared spaces other than eating breakfast outside on the cute patio which is a beautiful way to start the day. We ate at about 8 am (at the center patio) and then enjoyed Yosemite. I appreciate the checkout at noon, which is nice when you are on a leisurely pace. Thank you again Helen, I'll definitely be back! I'm so glad I was lucky enough to find such a homey, cozy stay!

We stayed at the Plaisance Bed and Breakfast for 3 nights in October and loved it. The proximity to Yosemite is great, and Mariposa is a cute little town. Plaisance is within walking distance to all of the restaurants in town.
The room we were in was spacious, comfortable and quiet. The bathroom was clean and modern. There was also a large closet and a fridge in the room which was handy.
But my favorite part of the stay was the breakfast. It was fantastic!! Everyday Helene (the owner) treated us to a delicious homemade meal. It was the best way to start a day of hiking. I highly recommend staying at the Plaisance Bed & Breakfast.

If I could give 10 star I would.
Helene and Ron are so kind and they were wonderful host. The rooms are confortable and the breakfast is so delicious fresh made. Our stay here was fantastic, a wonderful place to rest after a day in Yosemite (which stays at less than 1 hour and 20 minutes from El portal entrance).

We stayed here for three nights and it was extremely memorable. The accommodations were cozy and tidy, the views in every direction were gorgeous, and what really makes this top notch are the hosts, Helene and Ron. They are extremely sweet, offered spot on advice for traveling to the nearby Yosemite Park, and the breakfast they made was amazing! Every day was wonderful treats, hearty eggs prepared differently each time, and baked goods to take with us on the trail. Cannot wait to go again on our next trip, 6 stars out of 5.
