Alison is AMAZING. 1 visit can change your life. I suffer from pinched nerves and numbness and received significant results the first appointment. Alison is by far the greatest and best massage therapist I have ever been too !! She is so attuned to my body ! I found Alison Stickrod at Your Body Shoppe when I was seeking ion foot bath treatments. I found that, but so much more! I had an acute respiratory condition that allopathic medicine had not been able to diagnose or treat after over 4 months of trying. (This from a highly acclaimed pulmonary/respiratory institution.) Alison quickly realized I had considerable scarred tissue in my abdomen that was interfering with normal organic functioning, and she knew how to release the restrictions with her magic touch. I could breathe better and had less pain after the first treatment! After 6 weeks, I am about 90% back to normal. It feels no less than miraculous. Alison is my angel - a gifted and intuitive therapist. I highly recommend her.

Alison is hands down the best massage therapist I have found. She is very thorough on the initial intake form and is able to pinpoint and ease areas of your body that are tense and out of alignment.She also suggested a yoga pose that would help stretch out tense muscles. It was so relaxing I didn't want to get off the table! I would highly recommend Your Body Shoppe!

I have been seeing Ali for almost two years now and can't speak highly enough of her work. I first reached out to her to help alleviate the pain from the TMJ in my jaw and other muscle tightness. I'll be honest, the first handful of massages were fairly painful because my muscles were so tight and unhealthy. But as she worked, my muscles started to relax, it was no longer painful, and my jaw popped less and less.

One of the things I love about going to see Ali is that she just seems find the tight muscles, without me saying anything! Most times I didn't even know those muscles needed work until she started working. Ali provides an experience and quality of work you just don't see with typical massage places. She provides a relaxing environment with a heated massage table, relaxing music, and dim lighting. I always leave feeling refreshed - sometimes I even fall asleep on the table, it's so relaxing!

With COVID-19, she has taken every precaution to keep you safe - she sanitizes between each client, wears a face mask, and always makes sure to wash her hands before starting your massage.

I am so thankful I found her and will continue to see her for years to come.
