I absolutely LOVE how my tattoo for my third baby has turned out. It still has a couple of weeks left to heal, but it turned out exactly how I envisioned it. Shea was my artist & did a great job of communicating with me about how I wanted it to look. I wanted a certain type of cedar tree, not photo realistic, with added tree roots & his name in a script font. I couldn’t have come up with that on my own, so I’m glad she was able to take the reigns on it. She has an ultra light touch, too. Although it went over my collarbone, not once did it hurt. Highly recommend her for your artist, ESPECIALLY if you love color tats, cuz that’s more her specialty. I appreciate her understanding that I am not a color tattoo person though, lol! You will not be disappointed going to ANY of the tattoo artists at Above the Clouds. They all bring something special & skillful to the tattooing table. Photos are taken one week apart.

I have also gone to Audrey there, to tattoo the design my daughter drew up for me a couple of years ago. She was able to squeeze me in on an impulse decision to finally get the tat, & I super appreciated that! Audrey also had an incredibly light touch, as the design was on my wrist, & it also did not hurt at all. She was even able to clean up the lines of my daughter’s work, so that it looked perfect. It has since healed wonderfully, & I’m so grateful to her for bringing my daughter’s vision to life. Photo of it about 4 days post tattooing.

We meet Barrett at a local store. My girlfriend's son saw barrett's hair and said hello to her. He now calls her his tattoo fairy godmother. She has done all of our work. She is one of the kindest lady's we have known. She is obsessed with cleanliness and is very soft handed. She is a true artist so if you think you can bully her into something she doesn't want to do then think again. She also has no problem calling people on bull@$%. Most of the negative reviews I see on here are people who have fabricated their own drama. This a family shop nothing more.

Above the clouds tattoo is Amazing!! I got my first tattoo, by Elsa and It's absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend her. She is amazing, kind and her work is truly beautiful. She also helped me decide the best place for my tattoo and style. I can't wait to go back, and add more.

I meet the owner of Above the clouds tattoo about 8 years ago when I came into her first shop in woodland, I came in for a piercing! Barrett was just a cool chill person and I LOVED seeing her work!! At the time, I had 0 tattoos on my body, but kept going to her shop for more holes in my body, lol.
I just won a tattoo Gift card from RXP, $100 towards a tattoo from Above the clouds tattoo!

I was super pumped!!

I immediately messaged Barrett and was like hey! Yes! How cool! Told her my tattoo idea and she had me message the shop to get it all set up!

Now, I did not get my tattoo from Barrett the time around, because the piece I got is ittybitty, BUT she has an amazing apprentice named Audrey, who rocked out our tattoos! Oh! I dragged my husband along for matching tats!

Nothing but great things to say about this place! I was stopping through Colorado on vacation and wanted a tattoo. They ended up having cancellations and could accommodate a walk in. The owner and the staff are all welcoming and there for any questions you have. I got tatted by the apprentice, Talon. He did a great job and made sure the product was perfect!
