Aqua HotSprings was a fantastic way to spend a much needed relaxing weekend in the mountains and Mari the manager was a delight. Buena Vista is about a 15-20 minute drive with some of the best food and beverages you could ask for. The views in the winter were breathtaking and the local goodies were a real treat for my partner and I. The second floor bedroom has a beautiful view of the mountains right off of the porch and the stars at night are magnificent. We are already talking about visiting again next time we need another weekend away from the city. We highly recommend Aqua HotSprings!

I absolutely love the Aqua Hot Spring! Such a relaxing magical place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. The owners are awesome and easy to work with and you can tell they put a lot of thought and intention into making the experience at Aqua a special one. The pool itself is so clean and pure and healing. I can’t wait to go back! Thanks Aqua!

Betsy and I just got back from a 4 night stay at Aqua Hot Spring and I can definitely support the other reviewer's 5 star ratings. Like the others have said it all starts with Mari and she is a pleasure to work with to schedule your hot spring adventure. The house is very nice with a well equipped kitchen, fun decorations and a nice set of welcome gifts. We also had wonderful massages right in the house from Sarah who is also delightful to work with.

But you are probably not coming here for the house as much as the hot spring, and if that's what you are looking for then this is the place. The pool is perfectly situated right next to Chalk Creek which you can hear while soaking. And while there is a house or two directly across the creek there was no one there when we were there and we literally saw only one person walking down the road from the pool while we were there, but we saw plenty of deer.

Bottom line is if you are looking for a peaceful and quiet private hot spring experience with a great place to stay a few steps away you are in the right spot.

This place is so wonderful! My family of 4 had the most relaxing mini vacation at Aqua Hot Spring last autumn. It is truly the best place to unwind and get away from it all. Everyone enjoyed the yoga room and my kids loved the relaxing music selection and Mandela coloring. We were given a lovely welcome basket of teas and lotions. Of course, the private hot spring next to the creek was fabulous.

We had the greatest weekend! Mari was responsive and so helpful. We even had a little gift for our anniversary upon arrival, which was so kind. The cabin was clean and spacious. All the necessary commodities were there for us to use, including games. The private hot springs was so special. You will love this place. And we'll go back!

My husband and I were looking for a quiet getaway at a hot spring. I came across this property and thought it fit the bill perfectly! The home is well maintained, clean, and spacious. The hot spring on the property was HOT and clean! It was absolutely perfect sitting in the hot spring, relaxing, and enjoying the sound of the rushing creek and birds. We also fly fished in the creek and caught a brown. We sleep solid both nights! We will definitely be back!

This place is quite the hidden gem. Very helpful host who will go out of her way to ensure you have a wonderful stay, little touches in the cabin as if you were staying at a 5 star spa hotel. The hot springs pool is secluded, warm, and lovely, surrounded by trees and with a view of the night sky. The cabin is beautiful, especially the living area with big windows looking out in the woods. Plenty of short winter hikes around and the Mt Princeton restaurant is just down the road if you want take out, but the kitchen is stocked with gadgets for cooking. Pro tip: wear regular shoes down to the hot springs pool and bring a head lamp for evening dips since the pool doesn't have any lights along the path. Overall it was a relaxing and beautiful stay, I highly recommend staying here!
