Charisma salon is the place to go to get your hair done in Juneau! My stylist was Sadie and she was awesome. She had Such great, warming energy & we had lovely conversations while she was giving me a blonde treatment w/ k18. I got a full head of foils and multi-dimensional lived-in color. The salon experience was also rad, I stuffed my face like a chipmunk with snacks, and was pampered! This is the place!

Love the atmosphere at Charisma Salon. It was nothing but good vibes! As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted by the new salon manager who took my coat and offered me a drink. Charlena washed my hair and gave me a killer scalp massage before cutting and styling my hair exactly how I wanted - she absolutely nailed it. I highly recommend her for your hair needs! Everyone at the salon was so nice. Overall, it was a great experience, and I'll definitely go back!

I went to Megan after a recommendation from a friend, and I am so happy with how my hair has turned out! I have gone for both hair coloring and a hair cut. I also really enjoy being in the salon. It is very clean and organized. Everyone in the salon is very friendly. It also looks very nice aesthetically, and I was offered something to drink. Overall it was a very nice and relaxing experience.

Booked my first appointment at Charisma with Charlena to fix my faded out hair - and she mixed a perfect blend for my hair to go back to a natural “sunkissed brown”. We talked about what would be good for my hair, and she was both very knowledgeful and helpful to get me to where I wanted to be. She and all the employee’s were so kind, and easy to talk to! The salon itself is very cute and feels cozy to sit in, not to mention they offer snacks and water to you while you’re there! Overall, 10/10. Loved my experience and will be returning.

This past summer, my mom and I had the absolute pleasure of having our dream hair and makeup done for my wedding at Charisma Salon and Esthetics by Vanessa and Ashley, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the experience. From the first time I reached out to the salon team, all the way through to my wedding day, every interaction with Vanessa and Ashley was seamless, professional, and truly exceptional.

Choosing Charisma Salon and Esthetics was easily one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. Vanessa, Ashley, and the entire salon team were not only organized and prompt, but also incredibly thoughtful in their communication. They gathered all the information they needed on the styles my mom and I were hoping for, and they made everything work beautifully despite the challenges of us being out of state and not having time for a typical consultation due to our flight schedule. To top it off, they were incredibly kind and accommodating, coming in before the salon’s usual hours to ensure we’d be ready and make it to the wedding on time—a gesture that meant the world to us!

On the day of my wedding, working with Vanessa and Ashley was nothing short of phenomenal. They are both masters of their craft, and I couldn’t have asked for a more skilled or caring team. The way they seamlessly switched between working on my mom and I was impressive, and they were able to create looks that perfectly suited both of us.

Vanessa’s expertise and thoughtful suggestions made all the difference when it came to my hair. Her advice to go with a full updo for the glacier wedding was a game-changer—I couldn’t have been more grateful! The wind on the glacier was intense, but my hair stayed perfectly in place thanks to her exquisite braiding work. She even added a touch of fresh baby’s breath from the salon’s extra flowers, which was such a sweet and unexpected detail.

Ashley’s makeup skills, especially when it comes to outdoor events and photography, were absolutely amazing. She thought of every little detail, from using a long-lasting lip stain to ensuring my makeup blended seamlessly down my neck for a flawless look. Thanks to her, I felt beautiful and confident all day and well into the night. She was also incredibly kind and supportive with my mom, who wanted to do part of her own makeup and had been practicing for weeks—Ashley made sure my mom felt just as special and beautiful.

Vanessa and Ashley were both such a joy to work with. They were warm, kind, and so much fun, and the experience of getting ready with them is something I’ll always cherish. The time my mom and I spent with them will forever be a treasured memory, and I’m beyond grateful for the way they made both of us feel so beautiful on such a special day.
