I stopped in today after shopping nearby and I am so glad that I did. The shop was very busy but the attention from the staff was excellent. I had the pleasure of Sophie as a server. Her sweetness and attentiveness was wonderful. Great Tarragon Chicken Salad sandwich with homemade dressing for the side salad. The robust tea selection and delicious iced tea was outstanding!

I went here with my girlfriends for lunch and we all had a wonderful time! Our server was very nice and attentive. I got the South African tea flight, which was presented with a little card with the tea names. The tea could have definitely been stronger. Their poppyseed salad dressing is so good that I may need to get some to go next time.

My spouse and I stopped by at 14:00 on a weekday for a date. Only one other table was occupied, so it was delightfully quiet. The staff were still very nice and attentive. This was the best date we have had in months.

We had the afternoon tea and all the sandwiches and desserts were excellent. Their very wide selection of tea (well over 100) meant we both got exactly what we wanted, though we have very different tastes. The price was quite reasonable at about $20 per person.

It is much more busy on weekends and I would recommend a reservation then. It's a very different vibe. If you prefer to have a quiet tea, try to make it on a weekday.

Quaint place. I took my 92 year old mother, my mother-in-law and sister to lunch. Everyone enjoyed the tea and food. It was delicious. Bought some nice gifts for my mum, mother-in-law and sister. So enjoyable. I will definitely go again.

Unique store that sells a plethora of different tea leaf flavors. They also have a dining option. While the food itself is more classy and not something comparable to say outback or other chain stores. It is very good and I would recommend it if you want a more quiet option.

My very best memories of visiting my daughter at WVU include our time at The Tea Shoppe. The service is always outstanding, the food is delicious, and the selection of teas is incredible. My daughter frequently brought a book to read to relax and decompress from her studies. The atmosphere is simply delightful.

We are looking forward to making the 2 hr trek to visit again soon!

Went today for a girl's day out and had an amazing time!!! All of the employees were so friendly and the food was great! We got the royal tea, which came with a bowl of soup (enchilada soup was amazing), a huge slice of quiche, fruit, tea sandwiches, pastries, scones, and an entire teapot each! I got the butterscotch tea, which was amazing! The tea sandwiches and pastries were delicious as well! We had a really great time and will definitely be back!

I really thought this place was only about tea. We came here for their Mother's Day brunch and I'm a sincere fan. Like sing their praises to the homies fan. I wonder if I can get the homies to come, lol.

Anyway, I had the white mischief tea which was great by itself and splendid with honey. I had the soup which was sausage and tortellini. Stupid delicious. And I had the beef and Bleu sandwich and added a caesar salad. I was full and content after all of that. I really would eat there again today if I could.

Food is good, tea and desserts are great!! Nice quaint little place. Been here many times. Always enjoyable. Only complaint is 4pm is WAY super early to close on Saturdays especially when they close at 4pm all week and 3pm on Sundays.
Highly recommend( if you can make it before 4pm.)

This is one of my favorite places in Morgantown. The loose tea selection is exceptional and the food is amazing. I frequently buy 2 oz of teas for a fraction of the price that I paid in Raleigh, NC. The high tea food are wonderful. I’m in love with their scones, quiche, soups, and cucumbers sandwich. My husband loves their BLT and my son always gets the panini. I have yet to attend any of their literary special events but am looking forward to coming to one in the future.
