My second family. I love the ladies I work with. Ulta is a great company but sometimes its managers give great companies a bad taste in your mouth. Overall a great place for all of your skin body fragrance needs. If ever you need a makeover or want to be matched ask for Jessica!

Come here often but yesterday my experience wasn’t so delightful. I asked one of the girls that work there(who was stocking supplies at the time) I said hi proceeded to show her a video… and asked what does it look like she is using to get her make up lighter in the cheek bone area… she looked at me as if I was a bother to her and said what? A lighter concealer? As if “girl you should already know this” type of attitude. I saw it all over her face. In the most rudest way ever… she was a heavier African American girl and so am I so I thought she would have at least tried to help more but she barely wanted to point me in the direction to go… I was so furious… I’ve never had a bad experience at this ulta before yesterday… the little petite Caucasian ladies help me way more each and every time I’m there and I’m so offended that I have to mention that. But don’t judge a book by its cover bc you can never tell. I’ll never ask her for her assistance again. And yesterday she had pink pants on. So in case you see here there with them on again try not to bother her. Don’t work in customer service if you don’t want to be bothered with customers simple!

Worst experience ever. I went into the Hoover location looking for the Dior stick foundation($58) and Concealer. I had just bought $280 worth of makeup 3 days ago. I couldn’t use because the ladies in alabaster,al wouldn’t color match me. So I returned $130 worth planning to spend another $150-$200 the lady Joy that matches make up on you was there today around 11:20 ish. I ask the Assistant manager, and the lady that was color matching me if they knew who Jeffree star is because I seen him say that the Dior was the best cover-up along with concealer. The lady that matches you said I know who he is. He’s a racist. I said that’s so Inappropriate for an employee at a makeup store to make comments like that. She kept on and said that her store manager was also an African-American insinuating that nothing would be done to her for her actions. I’ve never been anywhere an employee says someone is racist. I told her I was simply asking about makeup. We weren’t talking about anything other than makeup in my mind. I want the corporate office to contact me immediately.

This location is always so racist. The employees follow me around and they are for some reason always white women. Even when I’m at the register they are coming up behind me looking me up and down.They are very racist even when I have a shopping bag nothing is ever good enough for some one who is just… RACIST. I Won’t be spending my money with this location. I hope they go out of business like Sephora in hoover did aswell. A business that dosent stand on equality and respect for ALL, (not just one race) will never flourish.

The worst location ever. Racist, rude, and unprofessional. I went into this location to the benefit bar for a 1pm appointment I made in advance online for eyebrow tint and wax. They all began to act confused on why I was there. The person who was supposed to do my brows, Constance P. began to exclaim how she wasn’t able to do it because she’s booked. This entire time not only was her chair empty, but the benefit bar was as well. They had some stylist that was hesitate and unsure to do my brows. Well attempt to do them, she mixed the tint together and slapped it on my brows that’s it. When I began to ask questions about the correct procedure to tint and wax she began to say no that’s not how it goes. She ran out to tell Constance what I said and Constance began to talk smart and laugh as if she’s a surgeon instead a stylist at Ulta. When the stylist returned I told her to wipe the tint from my brows and I told her I heard everything they said. She proceeded to tell me it was no charge as if that was ever a question. Avoid this place at all costs.

I may be spelling her name wrong. However, Kiari was so nice and patient with me as I told her I am figuring out my scent. It can be frustrating trying to find a signature fragrance especially when you do not know much about it. Kiari gave me recommendations and gave excellent customer service. She was the best!

Pulled up at 7:50 after a long day at work to get ONE item before thanksgiving and a white girl with a headband and an ugly mug on her face looked me right in my eyes and locked the door 10 minutes before close. I was coming to get one item. She saw me pull up and purposely locked the door so i could not come in. It’s ridiculous how bad people don’t want to work these days. If you don’t like your job, quit.
