Gwen is always amazing! Both Gwen and her husband are great stylists. I've been getting my hair cut there for almost 20 years!

I've moved 250 miles away now, but when I'm in town, I still go to her! Stopped in just two days ago and she stayed late just to fit me in!

Horrible! She agreed I only needed a trim. She botched my cute cut and shaved way too far up. She cut off my V hairline in the back and made me look like a dude! Even if I was a dude it's still uneven. Not even blended. The other side is not as bad but this side ruined the whole cut. All I can do is wear a hat. The picture is after I flat ironed it at home attempting to cover up my scalp. Most hairstylists will start off cutting less and then ask you if you want it shorter also ASK if you want your natural hairline in the back CUT OFF! ughh. I am not a dude and not trying to look like one!

Honestly, been coming here for a while. It was always a pretty average and fairly inconsistent experience. In my opinion, if you're a guy the only person here who can actually give you a good haircut is henry. Obviously that shows because he's by appointment only and is more expensive, even for a basic cut.

All that being said they WERE a passable and convenient haircut spot for me, simply because they kept their prices cheap. I dont know when they raised the prices, but there is no way im going to justify paying 25 bucks AND tip you for a 15 minute haircut when the ladies here clearly don't care most of the time.

At this point i'll just go to a real barber.

Horrid customer service! Wasted over an hour of my time only to finally get told I can't get my haircut. I personally will NEVER come to this place ever again! I strongly recommend not using this place that doesn’t respect or appreciate their customers. Very disappointing that more and more establishments like this one are not putting customer service first.. It seems that since the pandemic more and more people in places that serve the public just don’t care. This isn’t the first time it’s happened here however, it will be the last.

I had called earlier that day, I wasn't able to get there until 6:30p, they closed at 7. No problem they said. We get there and it seemed as if it was a problem, especially for the man. I explained I had called but neither were friendly. The lady gave my daughter a quick trim, simple. I did tip her 50%, but still felt not welcome. Won't go back.

We were in Concord, Ca for a Celebration of Life and on the way home I decided to look up a place to get my hair cut as i haven't been successful finding a place near my home. So, I looked for a place on Google Maps that was near me and had 5 stars. Next thing I know, I got the best haircut that I've had in 10 years.

The place was clean, friendly, affordible and the stylist looked at a picture of a style that I found online and .......

Dropped in on my favorite Hair cutter "Henry" by appointment to get my haircut and shampoo. "Henry" does a wonderful job at cutting hair and does it right the way it should be and fast. Drop in is okay but I would call to make an appointment. I travel two hours to see him and that should tell you something about how good he is. As usual it's just my opinion, but give him a call and try him out.
